Well we did get an SPX of 20 but in the wrong direction. SPX now at 1824.71 -20.08. This will make for golden prices for next week.

FOMC rate decision on the 29th. Might be too soon for them to do it but if the markets continue down they may feel pressured to do it.

This move is starting to excite me but I'll need confirmation of the bounce at 1830. The odds favor more down but something to think about. Normally I would say the move down is done but it has been a long time before a correction of 3% or better, As I watch the deadline approach there will be no move on my part unless a pop happens soon.

    Thanks Birch for admitting it.

So in keeping with trying to let you guys know in time. I'm not moving. There is plenty of time for confirmation to happen. This is looking a little like an inverted F pattern which is bearish until it breaks.

Both the primary and secondary drops were met in one day. Again you would think the move is over. I'm still one to wait for confirmation. Was this just a DCB or what? My red 50/50 line is now 50/50 as resistance but it has held earlier today. Maybe 60/40 chance of holding. I am so glad Spidey was right on on the drop amount. Only thing bearish is the fact that we're still 1% down and the market would benefit with more of a correction. So watch for dip buyers to continue buying at the open.

When you say long term are you talking 3-5 months? It appears like the upper and lower bands are narrowing. I think we will definately see a correction within that time frame. I think we will get pressure on the market when Yellen takes the lead from Big Ben. A political event with technical results, so to speak. Thanks for your postings,
