Good point. A scary one at that.
Lot of gaps to fill but when?

May the force be with us.
Dumb question that I can't seem to get an answer that I understand or feel like it makes sense to me. Why do technical traders feel/say that these gaps always get filled in? If they do, that gap in may is a scary one at that!
Thanks guys and gals!
Gaps used to act as magnets and got filled a little more quickly in the past. Now days a lot of gaps are news based and can go a long time to be filled because when the news changes 180 it gaps in the other direction. So some call these shadow gaps that aren't market based but are news based so no magnetism. Just my theory.

So many news gaps to fill but now will all the good news keep coming? Short term I have no foresight anymore:
