    It's a wonderful home ... thank you.

Best advice - when it's an obvious BEAR MARKET think safety and mainly just build up your biweekly contributions. G Fund gets little to no glory - but is the only one guaranteed to never lose.

Don't be afraid to do your own thing - regardless of what everyone else is doing - but consider your RISK FACTOR. I got majorly burned last year - so my RISK FACTOR is basically zero.

Focus on the more meaningful things - the bonds and friendships that will dominate your life the more you interact on this MB - and let that supercede everything else.

The competitive aspect is impossible to avoid early on - but after awhile it becomes more and more trivial.

Try not to let things going on throughout the world 'get to you' because you're totally powerless - so focus instead on the good things - your health, your family and friends, a nice warm home, dependable transportation.... and be grateful for all the wonderful things you have to enjoy.

Strive to be a positive addition - but be openminded and willing to share how you see things - even if it doesn't sound good.

Always be you - and be as real and transparent as possible

    Thanks SG,
I was kind of tired of hitch-hiking on others threads, but I really do not have a lot of knowledge of charts, indicators, etc. so I just rode on others coattails. I really hope that there is a big break out for the market before before 2010, but until then jump in or out, but be quick.
    Danny,

This markets looks like it's gonna go "WOOSH", and I want to be in on the action! It's kind of hard to hold back, like I did the entire month of Feb. , but then again there was not much to miss. The www.nyse.com and futures and International markets are looking real good, see yahoo/buisness then www.marketwatch.com . I kind of know that this is just another tease, but I don't want to let too much get by me, really when the markets are this good? Any input from others appreciated.

FWIW - if you read the post in my thread left by Caymanbrac 12 he mentioned his account was still 10 and change. What he meant was $10 million and change, a different kind of 6 handle.

If we lock arms we can surely clear the lanes ahead just like they do in roller derby.

Birch(B), I just noticed this and I am gonna stick and stay. I see all these other TSP people, talkers, whatever, are constantly jumping(geeking); here, there everywhere; with not much to show for it. If they only got 2 moves to make per month, then making a move based on the previous days results doesn't seem to be very smart.
HAS THERE BEEN ANY MOVES TOWARD A TSP ROTH OPTION???
There are some others like Nenner who have some spiritual thing going that works real well. I believe that I had picked up on some links that noted he believed the markets would do well until mid-May then go into a funk again until the fall with some brief upswings in the market in the middle of summer. I have not gotten a whole lot better $$$ since following the B, but it has been positive and more interesting for instead of the .00001% per day change(G fund), one day it(C & I FUNDS) goes up a few $ks the next it goes down a few $ks, but over all it has been positive. I need to just stop 'geeking' and follow solid advive that works. Who knows, If I Stick and Stay maybe I'll get back to my TSP high way back on Oct. 2007.
I'm a computer programmer by trade and chasing sound advice on the boards is futile. Just plot where you'd like to be within reason, watch the markets, world events, etc. and be prudent!
