    My month in review

Want to hear something funny? I tied the G fund this month

The good news: I accumulated 1.96% more G shares. I invested in every fund this month and managed to skim a profit from each one, hence the accumulation of more G shares.

I was invested a total 14 days at 60% or less, so I did meet my goal of being invested half the time during this bear Market. The only fund I beat this month was I.

The bad news: I messed up my first IFT which has now messed up my tracker. My first IFT was ill timed from sitting on the sidelines too long and rushing my first IFT because of a scheduling conflict that would keep me from watching the markets that week.

Lessons learned: Don't let scheduling conflicts rush me into making IFTs.

I'm glad everyone seemed to have a great month and I'm glad most of us are now on the sidelines.

May God protect our families from the hurricane.

For those of you who bought in today, I hope you get a low price. For myself, I wasn't about to chase this mini rally because we are in the middle of both technical support and resistence.

Election year Septembers are supposed to be strong. But I wasn't impressed this morning with the S&P's inability to pierce through 1302.

I think it's about time we completed the head and shoulders formation.

    Don't believe the hype...

Unless I see something that catches my eye, I'm with you and in G.

I hear ya, I sure hope we can find a good entry point with our first IFT.

For those of you interested, here are the Monthly pivot points (in red) from August and the weekly pivot points (in yellow) from last week.

    Thanks!

It looks like a Black Light picture of my TSP Fund.

I jumped in at the very left 100%, bought more at number 28 and am still waiting....

Opps, I slept in this morning and missed the IFT deadline.

I'l go ahead and state the obvious.

The last time we had a 3 dar drop (5 Aug) in the SPX it was followed by a 30 point gain!!!

The last 3 day drop before that was followed by another 30 point gain!

Did anyone notice todays F fund closing price is the highest year to date?

So what does this mean with the traditional inverse relationship to the C & S?

Maybe it's time for F to drop and C & S to get out of this trading channel?

Or maybe it's time to complete it's head and shoulders?

And what about that I with 3 negitive months in a row?

Folks you need to be concerned!!!

As of the time of this post,

EFA has lost over 5% MTD
    $EMW lost over 3%
    S&P love 2.5%

Not sure if this is the time to catch a bottom

Here is a chart I made at the end of Augest.

The long red & green lines are the monthly pivot points.

The short red & green lines are the weekly piviot points from last week.

The blue lines are represent the number of open, closes, highs, and lows over the last three months.

Not much keeping us from going to 1200 level, cash is king...

    1243.57-31.41(-2.46%)

I know some of you are starting to make your way down the rabbit hole and just how deep it goes, nobody knows. From mid may through June, I followed the rabbit hole almost all the way down and lost over 7%, all the while clinging to the hope...

I'm an ever humble student of this market and I only hope that none of you do the same thing I did in June...

And just for the record, I'm not preaching to anybody, I'm -8.49% YTD
