James,
At #72 you should think about changing your bear suit.

You have a very good point there Birch.
I switched from the bull to the bear back in 2008. We're now at the point where I am seeing, in the data, the next few months seriously higher ahead. Perhaps it IS time to change avatars to the bull.
What do you think? Should I change my avatar from this bear:

And, instead, make it this bull?:

Maybe I need a poll so we can have a vote.... :-)
I vote for the bull ... but add horns.

My flight back out of DCA this morning was delayed by 1:25 due to mechanical difficulty. (Thank you Delta). In looking on-line before departing DCA, it showed my connection flight was actually delayed by 40 minutes too.
I did the OJ sprint (you have to be old enough to know that one) to the new gate, ONLY to find out that the connecting flight CLOSED THE DOOR EARLY, and it departed the gate six minutes PRIOR to the scheduled departure time, leaving me missing the flight by TWO MINUTES.
I hate when that happens.
I now have SIX HOURS AND TWENTY MINUTES to wait in the aiirport until the next flight.
Happy Friday.

back in DC again this week- hoping to make it out tomorrow without a repeat of the friday flight fiasco of the last trip.
The hair on the back of my neck is starting to tingle again, telling me it's time to move to safety in the market. I've been blessed with a double-digit gain since just before Christmas. Greed kills. Backing off with a swing move to move stability. I just did an IFT in the real account tonight to: 45% "G" 40% "F", 5% "C", 5% "S",, 5% "I".
That takes my stock exposure down to only 15%. That's good- nothing goes straight up for long, and it's time for a rest.
