October has a lot of V shaped turnarounds over the years. Thats intriguing, but I'd like to see a divergence on price and RSI first. One more dip to new low on price would do it. But, in bull markets you don't always get that.

I think we’re almost there. We got the conditions for my system except for a bounce to start. We are below the 200 dma so I should be in 50% or more. I may start that tomorrow.

in case anyone was interested, I was in the S fund for about a week and got out. The tracker didn't get changed. sorry. I an 100% G right now. Looking to buy some S fund I think. We are in a bull market (%0 dm above 200 dma) and my system would have me 50% in at the minimum.

we are in a nice downtrend. Think I'll wait for that to end.

2581 closing price for spx has been hit twice this year. February and April. Wonder if that needs a test again. Anyway, I’m looking at the downtrend on this correction to be broken on the upside to give me a buy spot. These things usually go farther than you would think or expect.

Looks like we may be in a bottoming phase. I want to see the downtrend lines broken on the upside. Thats also getting close

We do have a nice W pattern over the past few days. We may go up like you guess...Unless the 2700-2705 range is now a ceiling.

just got some inherited funds to invest. I am putting them in a Schwab brokerage account. I am thinking of buying some AAPL stock and a few ETFs. I know there are folks with good ideas. I would appreciate advice for things I can keep for at least a year for lower capital gains tax rate purposes. It will be in a taxable account. I think a good buying opportunity in general is coming soon.

MSFT is below $103 today down from over $110. INTC is doing well after a good report but it is really inexpensive with a nice dividend.
PFE is down to $42 after a poor quartterly report but it has had a great year!
