S funds appears to be making divergence on price vs RSI which is a sell and back at 70 which is overbought. Unless the RSI makes a higher high, which will be tough. C fund is just below the high so no divergence yet.

I have a sell on C and S funds due to overbought RSI. I have to stay in 50% due to my system which is in bull market rules. A pullback should be imminent. I'll be looking for a good opportunity to buy. Like hitting the 50 dma. We are way above it though.

I really tempted to sell my 50% C fund today. I've already used 1 eft though so I'd be stuck for the rest if the month. My system does have an override if C fund RSI goes to 80. We are at 73 as I write. Getting scary. When the drop comes it may be severe.

One theory I've heard is that big money wants to wait until next year to sell anything because they expect lower tax rates. So, no selling now. Just buying. So, the selling may begin in January?

Well, I still want to sell but my system has me in 50% until RSI hits 80 (at 77 now). Plus I wasted a trade the first of this month, so I only have one left. If I go out now then I'm stuck until January

Very true.

The RSI on the Dow is at 87! ....87! Thats unheard of, yet it continues up. S&P is at almost 78. Again, almost unheard of. That speaks to the power behind this rally. But, I say again, when they drop it will be severe. Seems the idea that big money won't sell until January because of expected lower taxes is right. I plan on being out by then.

RSI has backed off some. Maybe we can get a pull back next week. If so then we may have a little rally after Christmas. Who knows. My system has me in 50% until we get a pullback to the 50 Dma for a strong buy. There are some other conditions that might give me a buy. I am still worried about January though.

Stocks are consolidating. That is much needed, But will it drop down to the 50 dma? My system says to be in at least 50% in a bull market, so that's where I am. If we get a good drop to the 50 dma area I may be going all in. I think though that we may have a few months of this consolidating. I watch the Dow vs presidential election cycle and it suggests that. But a big rally should ensue beginning about April.
