Man this day ended on a rather sour note -- oh well, maybe tomorrow
Good rally yesterday --
puts me positive on tracker -- but counting time this year not in tracker still in the red.
Learned something this morning on contribution allocation: it takes up to 2 days for it to take effect. I am moving 100% over to S for this pay period, but my contribution is scheduled to take effect COB tomorrow. Hopefully it will take effect in time. Reason: I am using 4 Feb as a benchmark for C, S, and I and have my allocation spread between the 3. I fund has surpassed 4 Feb price and C is right up on it, while S is 40+ cents behind. Figured I would move contribution to it for buy in and hope S catches up in next couple weeks. Next pay period will remember to make any changes on contribution a day earlier.
I put the very max I can per IRS in contribution, so deciding where it goes every two weeks based on price per share instead of letting her ride is important to me. How long before they limit the number of times you can change that?
Also thinking about using my first IFT of Apr to move I and possibly C balances to S to go 100% S as I watch the next couple of days, but will probably wait and do so COB Thursday as I am afraid of Friday. While not real smart on this stuff, I like Optionmans strategy right now. Hate to use an IFT so early though.

Currently 54% I, 21% S, 25% C,
COB today going 75% C and 25% S
Bad feeling about Thu and Fri -- which means I will probably be wrong and C and I skyrocket.
Going 50% G, 25% each S and I COB today
On a plane in a little while to Dayton -- otherwise would wait and watch.
Trying to limit damage if we go in a tail spin next few days while I may or may not have access to TSP site -- while still trying to catch a few nickels if rally continues.
Changed mind and going 100% G as of COB today -- If going to burn an IFT let's burn it all the way -- plus have a hunch rest of week may not be real rosey

Wow, out of everyone on the tracker I made the only IFT back into stocks today. Feel like I'm an island now. Maybe the only sucker of the bunch.
OK veterans, what signals did I miss not to jump back in?
My reasoning was that GE sent stocks plummeting because it was unexpeted news. Now everyone will expect bad news across the board and not react so negatively. Plus maybe, just maybe there will be some unexpected good news.
The market may drop more Monday, but I figure I got out of stocks Monday COB and got back in them today COB, so I missed some big losses, and even if it drops more (hopefully not much) I will be in the game for any rally.
The support of 1340 on S&P500 was broken, and volume was light. Many expect more selling next week and we could go below 1300. The monthly/quarterly earnings reports will be in full swing next week. Some are saying since GE surprised all with a bad report, expect more bad earnings reports next week. Next week will be volatile since its options expiration week.
