We had a DeMark price(trend) flip on the weekly chart as well, ie closing price on the weekly will be lower than closing price 4 weeks prior, the way things are looking right now. That's a serious trend change, bigger (weekly) picture, could go for a few weeks, until unless we get another price flip back up at next weeks close. I'm going to still wait for the weekly RSI to tell me a lower base to buy in at, birch.

You don't know it but you've had a major effect on how I look at longterm buy points-way back when I knew nothing about nothing, you made a remark about slo stoch monthly below 20 and coming back up and over. I wish I had understood the implications then. I know now. but since I didn't catch that wave, I'm working off the weekly charts instead for bigger buy sell decisions. You know what you're doing, I'm still practicing for the next big one. It will come.

No DeMark price flip signalling new uptrend yet. OTH, THIS pattern is definitely still in play: 3 Peaks Domed house. I tried to insert link to the actual image but Tom's software says the standalone image is too big, so the second link doesn't actually work.

Hi whipsaw, no we haven't hit 25 as yet. what we have done tho, near-miss is hit that second kissback from the underside. the 25 marker is directly overtop of that big rally point a couple rallies down the slope of hope. have to wait and see if the near-miss is good enough or if we have another day of upswing indecision before another good drop. or who knows, maybe the powers that be will find a way to boost back over the kissback trendline a little longer. hard to say until the next move comes.

When you put in the permabear website, it started treating it like a link.I could edit it, but didn't know where it started.

Will hope that won't keep happening. It did that with a couple of the music posts I made last night also. Just got back from 2 great weeks away from the dayjob, not sure that had to do anything to do with weird linking action, but perhaps I'm out of practice with posting. will have to work on that. onward.

Hey al - where did you go on vacation? Good luck with getting back in sync with real life and the dayjob. It's always been rough for me....I always want to be on vacation.

I have noticed that sometimes when I post a link first on the page and go advanced the next text I type edits the link and will not let me out of that mode. It doesn't happen all of the time but the link still works but with underlined comments.

Hmm, I had a good friend named Al, retired several years ago, haven't heard from in awhile. feminine version would be allie or giggles, or something like that. masculine version doesn't really fit. I went off on a vehicular jaunt to visit family and friends in the Rockies. Great weather. I love big highcountry blue skies, crisp mornings, cool afternoons, golden aspen leaves. It'll be hard to go back to work tomorrow, so came home a day ahead of time, allows time for mental readjustment. wish I could figure out what my post-fed life will hold, I foresee working at least parttime at something that interests me, for a few more years postfed. not sure yet what that will entail. testing a few ideas for feasibility, nothing has stuck yet.
