This market has been indecisive for weeks now. I just don't have confidence that the break out of this indecisiveness will be up, so I'm going into bonds until I see otherwise.

I had exact same feeling and made same move you did. Been fairly stagnant for weeks so time will tell

Just went into the I fund for no specific rhyme or reason. Just couse. Could be the book on tapes fault. Feeling optimistic after listening to The Martian (soon to be in a motion picture theater near you). Mark Watney is awesome. Makes me want to science the s*&% out of something Going to go work on my garden now. A measly 168 sqft in comparison to Watney's 667 sqft martian potato farm, but only costs $2 per sqft as opposed to Watney's $7,500 per sqft garden. Plus - I buy my manure by the bag at the garden center which is better than what Watney had to use.

If you haven't read (listened to) the book, do yourself a favor and borrow/buy a copy now before the movie comes out in Nov.

I like your "BOT" (i.e.Books On Tape) system. It sounds very scientific. I can see the chart now. At the closing bell the day's results are classified as Best Seller's, Mystery, Crime, Science Fiction, Literature, or Poorly Written. Barnes and Noble is responsible for all trades and serve lattes and cake to customers on every trade. Of course all contrarians would simply follow Poorly Written. Best to you in your investing.

I just may start a BOT trading system - Thanks for the laugh. As of today the contrarian play is the safer bet.

Back in the G pond. Greece disappointed me. I tend to think people are rational human beings and therefore thought the Greeks would just do what was needed to get their economy healthy. Their no vote was a total surprise to me and an unpleasent one to the markets. But we have recovered that lost ground and now must figure out what is next for the I fund. Kudos to the top 10 who saw this coming and missed last week's bottoming action.
