Pain management is the key. They changed frequency and now I want to sleep all the time, like now.

FERS Disability Retirement approved, I won my VA compensation case and my SSDI should hit first of July after the 5 month waiting period for terminal claimants. Need to make sure Health and Life insurance are still in place and that should be it. Prepaid my funeral, bought the plots and picked out a nice headstone made of Missouri Red Granite.

One thing of note, if you are going the Disability Retirement route and you do have a serious health condition, you can call OPM and expedite your case. It does require persistences and some calling back, but it work for me.

Very happy to be in the G fund this week..........
I don't know you, but it sounds like you have a lot of courage and love for your family. Leave it to the government to make you fight for your rights for months and months. Good Luck.
    Is today Saturday again?

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your posts over the years Show-me. I'm so sorry that damm cancer has not gone away. I asked the good Lord to help you anyway possible. I lost my father a few years back. He had emphysema real bad. I got to talk with him the night before...he had a clear period of clarity that was so good to talk to him one more time. God took him in the night. Whatever happens, you have been an inspiration to us all. Thanks so much for everthing. You have helped me so much through the years. You were one of my favorite reads. God bless you. (: .....
You a so strong! So proud of you for holding strong.

My appointment did not go very well. As my breathing capacity continues to decreases it appears that my ability to expel CO2 is becoming a problem. It was suggested that we start looking at bring in hospice for better quality of life. I just happened to have an appointment the following day with my primary Doc. and he agreed. From what he told us you are better to bring in hospice than to go to the hospital because the hospital will put you on a ventilator and you will become dependent on it and never come back home. I pick home. One thing is for certain, there is no time table for the coming events. So this could take days, weeks or months depending on a number of variables. My pain is manageable but my breathing is a day to day miracle. I do tire easily and take naps without feeling guilty. lol So I will take a nap. — feeling tired.

I've been trying to stay away from this subject matter because any support I can offer is against the law.
