Speaking of Edwards AFB, I was there with the SR-71 program. I wanted to ride in the SRO seat but I lacked the years of training required for the job.

I lived close to Edwards AFB in the late 1950s, I saw the X-15 fly over my school one day.X15.jpg

Pulling the Ejection Handle early this month... I will move back in later this month... I just get really nervous whenever BHO or Uncle Ben (BB) is center stage...

Snapped this shot at Edwards AFB… I can remember watching the Space Shuttle Challenger fall back to earth live on TV back in 1986. The Space Shuttle Endeavour was built specifically to replace the Space Shuttle Challenger. It’s just really sad to see the USA shift it’s national focus away from Space Exploration and Engineering to the current policy of promoting Social Engineering. I’m an optimist, so I’m betting NASA will come back from the ashes and help us lead the way for manned space flight in the future. Anyway, the NASA team has played an important role in American History and paid us back in Blood, Sweat & Tears over the last 50 years and I’m proud of their accomplishments. NASA, you truly understand the meaning of what it takes to have, “The Right Stuff”... Job Well Done!

I too watched the Challenger, while at my high school. weird day for me, but I'm glad the Endeavour showed that we still had some resilience.

    Thanks for the pics AG!

Happy New Year Everyone!!!... 2014 was a very tough year... I noticed only 25 members beat the "C" Fund for 2014... I'm confident that 2015 will be an upmarket... God Bless everyone and may your TSP accounts continue to grow!!!
