Very insightful, thanks for sharing. I wanted to throw a spotlight on the potential market paradox she describes at the 19:00 minute mark. In her opinion, current market prices are elevated because the market has already priced in future rate cuts by the Fed (pivot) in a reachable time frame. Yet she points out that the Fed is likely to hold rates higher as long as they can get away with, based on their own language. So, when that time frame is reached and the Fed has yet to cut rates, there will be a strong negative reaction in the market, which will likely be the catalyst for the Fed to cut rates.
In her words:
"The markets are discounting the pivot before the pain, but the pivot is going to be the consequence of the pain."

Looks like we've crept above the upper band 4 days in a row. I think Ira says 5 days is normally the max before heading back down to the 20 day average (in this case).
The 50 and the 20 together will be strong resistance, and the lower band sits at about 1595ish.
Depending on the Debt Ceiling talks, we could slice through all of that, or maybe not. Black Swan ???

Debt ceiling agreement in principle reached between Democrats, Republicans
The agreement comes just days ahead of Treasury Secretary Yellen's June 5 deadline.
An agreement in principle has been reached on the debt ceiling, Fox News has learned.
According to multiple sources, an all GOP House conference call is scheduled to happen at 9:30 p.m. Saturday about the debt limit negotiations. President Biden and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy were scheduled to speak by phone Saturday night at 6 p.m. to discuss a potential debt limit deal, Fox News learned.
So, I wonder what this all really means and how it will play out next week. Will we be Green to the moon come Tuesday morning??? Who gave up what??????
