    QT coming down the pike . . . . . . https://www.atlanticcouncil.org/blog...ght-inflation/
With this incoming, I can only imagine that the downward spiral will not only continue, but could morph into full blown recession (Bad).
I've been sitting in G-Fund since taking a hit in January (which has been a good thing), and I also just sold off and moved to safety in my Fidelity Account (my "play" money) after taking a hit over the past couple of weeks. I've reached my limit. I'll be ready to jump back in with both feet once it's clear that an upward bullish trend has been established.

The FED will continue to raise interest rates. It is their job to ensure the value of the dollar.

The FED likely caused some of this inflation - but the Treasury got drunk, soaked the bed in cheap vodka, and dropped the cigarette. Now, the FED has to raise interest rates to yank the excess stimulus boondoggle money out of the system. They can no longer pull money out in a measured and organized way to clear the bond holdings they have. They have to raise interest rates while the economy craters as a result of policy.

    Good times ahead

However, for those on the watch this too shall pass. Keep your powder dry and invest when the goobers get the boot. Might be three years. Or, it could be sooner if confidence is restored after a political bloodbath. Don't know. Regardless, it won't be something a quick read of the charts/palms will illustrate.

    What a joy.
Lookin' up at the 'G Fund'!!!

I hope sooner than later. I'm so far down the rabbit hole I just need a few green days in a row to give me some confidence. Nothing big, 1/2% here or 3/4% there. Don't get me wrong I would be ecstatic for a 2-3% or more over the next couple of days. Not holding my breath. Just not what we have had over the last 3 days.

I found this kind of interesting, and I've seen a couple other charting people making similar analogies / comparisons.

Just spot checking some things. Haven't looked at this for a while. Last time I checked, we were at about 23. Now we're just 3 above single digit levels. DAYYMMMM. . . . . .

Wow ...... I missed that. Crazy
I have very little confidence in what lies ahead given the path that we're on right now. This Summer (and year for that matter) could be incredibly volatile not only in the Market, but what goes on around us and in the world.
Be vigilant and protect yourself. Things WILL get better, but it's going to take some time.

Anyone ever watch this?? It pops up on the side bar from time to time when I'm trolling other YouTube vids.
It's Elon Musk, Jack Dorsey, Cathy Woods, and some other dude. It's all about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
They've been streaming now for 4 hours. I've seen it stream for as long as 8 to 10 hours.

What the hell could you possibly talk about for 8 to 10 hours about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies???
This makes no sense to me at all, but it's fun to watch Elon trying to be comedic and laughing at his own jokes......

    Just FYI .......
    https://www.cnbc.com/2022/05/20/ecb-...n-outlook.html

"The ECB will soon hike rates for the first time in more than a decade, a member of the central bank’s governing council told CNBC Friday................comments indicate that the first interest rate rise could come in July, once the ECB has debated new economic forecasts released the prior month."

I heard a podcast recently where Musk was being interviewed. He's no smarter than anyone else - just made a massively bold bet on electric cars and has a cult following. I listened for a few minutes and couldn't take his jokes and nervous laughter anymore. I also got the sense he was high during the interview.

Nearly one out of every four of Elon Musk’s Twitter followers are either spam or bot accounts, according to researchers.
