Hi sd -
I hope you find this thread OK. We were getting a bit off topic in the Share Your TSP Balance and Your Age Thread, so I created an Account Talk thread for you.
Good luck!
With that said, I just moved mine to the G fund. After an all time high, the China tariffs are kicking in and the market has already reacted. Add to that the coming federal budget deadline and there could be unrest in the market. I am afraid people are going to start taking profits. I hate to get out when it has been doing nothing but going up, but when it eventually corrects, it is going to get ugly. I have always trusted my gut, and my gut is queasy right now about this.

I found it.
I "felt" the correction coming...but...when the market didn't move down for a couple of weeks, I thought I was wrong and went back to C. Then it fell for all the reasons I thought, especially interest rates. I don't understand the delay. Cost me $40k. I give advice (sometimes bad) to a few friends, and I'm more conservative there. I advised them to get back into C last Friday. They didn't lose a dime and are very happy. I guess I need to really be more patient when I make a move.
