Instead of a seperate box. I had given thought to a drawer. I think a drawer for storage under the piece would bomb this sucker out of the park!!

yeah, drawer is better than box, then you don't have to remove stuff from the top when opening. might not need 5 large holes for ecig juice on top if store them underneath in drawer, could get away with 3 or for if dimensions work out better. drawer would need to be 3" min to 4-1/2" max inside clear height dimensions.

keep working on it before you cut and let me what you come up with. simple block of wood is good too.

    from the e-cigarette thread.

hey kave, how is the design for my nicotine altar coming along?

    Burro,

I went to my local BORG this weekend and bought a piece of inexpensive pine to build a protype. Below is what I put together. Feel free to offer any suggestions/thoughts and /or questions.

dude, you got to be kidding me? you just whipped that up as a sample from cheap pine? hell, i'll buy that one. f***ing incredible!

out of old tobacco barn wood? no contest, hands down a winner. you're an artist, i knew it!

the only suggestion i would make is a low profile drawer pull like a linear brushed nickle handle instead of a wood button. but i am not complaining. outstanding! sold.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it. As far as the drawer pull, the one shown is actually a brushed bronze style. It was just a cheap pull to give you an idea. How bout a pull made using an old tobacco stick?

oh yeah, drawer pull from a tobacco stick. if you can make that, then that's what i want. but there is not anything wrong with what you made already. that is awesome.

you know you could sell those, right. on ebay or paypal or something and make a killing. that is like furniture man.
