    Cool Re: FireGal Account Talk

Sorry been out of touch for awhile on vacation..... Did I miss anything?

Currently 50C/50S - thinking about a move to 100%S for my first move this month.... The trend is your friend......Altho capital protection is not out of the question.....

Hello, friend! I moved to 100% S on Monday. Getting like 1+ gains so far. Looks promising since Yellen's talk today.

Mine is way too simple. MACD, slo STO, the trend is your friend, 3 higher highs to get in, 3 lower lows to get out. Someone mentioned on a post several months ago about always being in the market on the first of the month. I tried that strategy at the end of September and used an IFT to get back in for October and took a pretty big hit. Just checked VXF on Stockcharts and I am getting close to making an IFT- likely AGG.⚡️🔥

I use the defaults. MACD 11,26,9/ Slo STO 14,3. One other indicator I'm kinda liking is Williams%R. AGG just made a cross over Friday (day 1) in the SloSTO; I watch the slope on the MACD rather than a crossover - lags a bit as one of my positive confirmations for a IFT.

VXF is unnerving - sitting in the same spot for 5 days. SPX looks "ok" as it is now in new territory but not enough for me to IFT into. ⚡️

I use Wms%R., slosto, TRIX routinely. usually bigger timeframes. my prob is I'm always secondguessing where/when things are going to change, so I watch and wait, and watch some more. back home at last after being away from markets and personal computers for most of past several weeks. Seasonality is finally in favorable timeframe. chartwork to do this weekend. actions next week-perhaps.

I like your KISS principle... they are best approaches...... I keep looking the moon on the sky... buy on full moon and sell on new moon... when everything else is aligned of course...

Congratulations, Firegirl, on your #1 AT status! (at least on the non-paying side ) Even more impressive is your ability to STAY on the top for so long. Good luck for the rest of the year, altho it doesn't look like you need any luck staying up there!

Yes, seasonality... forgot about that one. Might make me a bit more optimistic about staying in the market...
