Looks like a bad week to give up drinking...

So today the Canadian Geese took flight and filled the skies over Maryland's Eastern Shore with their V formations and honking sounds, to begin their arduous journey back to our neighbors to the north.

Notice has been served. Spring is on its way!!!

Peepers (baby frogs) are coming out of the mud and making noise at night now too. Thomas Jefferson was big on watching nature for various signs indicating potential future weather so that he could know when to plant his vegetables and flowers. Unfortunately this doesn't work for the markets - I don't know what does anymore ha ha ha.

I wish they would stay there. Canada can keep all of them.

I love to look at them, but they create major havoc on our beaches at Sardis Lake. When they finally get tired of the beach, you’d swear hundreds of dachshunds had been there.

A couple of decades ago we literally trucked them in and now the state has an eradication program.
