Well we should all be equal until after 4pm today.
I just jumped onto the AutoTracker and it is showing 12/31/20 results. I guess I will send Tom a message.
May the force be with us.

Let's hope by the end of the day it's not to bad.

So far stocks are looking pretty good, but what's going on with bonds???

Read a number of political statements today on a number of peoples account talk, including Thursday's Market Commentary. And yet none were deleted or censored. But mine was.

Hypocrisy is the practice of engaging in the same behavior or activity for which one criticizes another or the practice of claiming to have moral standards or beliefs to which one's own behavior does not conform.

Normally the difference is in how it relates to the market. If it's just an outright political statement (and I see it) I'll delete it, because it only spurs on other like comments, and usually not friendly or useful to the site. There's a place for that somewhere but we've tried it here on two occasions, and it failed miserably. I'm sure you guys understand what I'm saying. Here's some examples:

    OK:
The market may not like that the democrats won last night's election.
    Not OK:
It looks like the wacky socialists are now in charge.
    OK:
The market fell after shots were fired in the capitol.
    Not OK:
Trump's goons were sent to the capitol and now stocks are tanking.

Try moderating these fine lines at times. It's not easy without offending someone.

Try not moderating them and see what this site becomes. Remember our beltwaytalk.com, where we moved the political posts? It became a cesspool and had to be deleted.

It's not as easy as you think.

I concur, business is business and politics is politics, enough said.
