Are there dialysis units on board? If so they could increase drinking, which would increase fundraising, which means more dialysis treatments! Sounds like a great cruise!

Yes, there are typically 7 to 10 dialysis patients on board along with dialysis machines and the doctors to make it all happen. Most of the fundraising occurs in the evening through raffles and auctions. The last rally was held in 2017 and as of that date, $2.7 million dollars had been raised for kidney dialysis.

Wow! That’s a serious fundraiser for a great cause! Here I am making light of the situation thinking a bunch of HD faithfuls are doing their best to reduce the ships inventory of booze. I hope it raises tons for kidney dialysis improvements. The field has come a long way of from where it was even 15 years ago.

Your thinking is understandable because we HD faithful do enjoy our adult beverages after a long ride. But in that same vein, we are some of the kindest, most generous and helpful people you'll ever meet.

Saw this article at FedSmith.com and thought it may be of interest to the folks here at TSPTalk. It is titled "Is There a Bubble Brewing in the TSP?" Kinda scary when you think about it, especially when everyone is heading for the exits. Anyway, enjoy the article and feel free to opine if you wish.

Got this from Briefing.com a few minutes ago.

[BRIEFING.COM] The major averages are working their way back toward session highs, reinvigorated by a report that a partial trade deal was reached at today's meeting between representatives from China and the U.S. The S&P 500 is up 1.7%.The market has not been bothered by the fact that the Bloomberg report goes on to say that the agreement calls for increased agricultural concessions from China in exchange for some tariff relief. In other words, this "partial deal" does not address any of the core issues. China's Vice Premier Liu He is currently meeting with President Trump, but that meeting is not expected to end before the market closes for the day.

You mean to tell me the NFL couldn't come up with a better game than Patriots, Jets for Monday Night Football???

It's times like this I'm happy to be a Ravens fan... The game against the Seahawks yesterday was awesome!

Been doing very well this month with my 50% investment in equities. Thinking it may be time to head back to safety before weeks end.

    Good luck everyone!!!

Second IFT for October submitted. 100% G Fund, eff COB 10/22/19.

Stocks moving closer to new all time highs. Perhaps they break through, perhaps not. Being retired, I'm not willing to take the risk. So it's back to the lily pad for me to patiently wait for the next dip.

    Good luck everyone!!!

Regarding the game last night...Patriots 33 - Jets 0 yeah yeah, the greatest team, the greatest owner uhh pervert, the greatest quarterback, the greatest coach, the greatest everything...blah, blah, blah...another Monday Night stinker.

So what looked like a pretty good day to exit the market this afternoon, turned out to be not so much as what appeared to be a decent gain today, turned into a -0.14% loss for the day. But all in all, October has been a good month for me as I am up 2.15% on this last trade.

As Tom mentioned in his commentary this evening, lots of issues affecting the market at the moment. As for me, I am safely back on the lily pad, profits locked in and enjoying the show. Now pass the popcorn.

Wow, I can't believe it has been two weeks since my last post. Where has the time gone??? I can blame the last few days on celebrating that great, great win my Ravens had over Skirt in the dirt Brady and the Patriots. Two teams I love to see lose are the Patriots and the Steelers and no matter what happens the rest of the way, we whipped em both.

As for the market, it seems to be consolidating and appears to be ready for a pullback. I am safely in the G fund and patiently waiting for an opportunity to get back in when the price is right.

    Good luck everyone!!! Raven out!

I, too, enjoyed the a**-whooping the Ravens gave the patriots!
