Well after a rough day in the markets today, it's good to just sit back, relax and watch a football game. Being a Ravens fan, I'll be rooting for the Dolphins to take it to the Bengals, but reality tells me they don't have a chance.

Oh well, the beer is cold and the buttered popcorn is hot...Time for the game!!!

Okay, Dolphins are up, but man them are some ugly uniforms...Reminds me of when the Bucaneers came into the league...

Just executed my first IFT for October. 50% C Fund, 50% S Fund...

So I put the IFT in near the 12:00 deadline, S&P 500 is down over 20 points. Yeah this is going to be a good dip buy...price closes 6.63 points down...I know what's happening at noon is never the same as market closing, but come on guys...really? Can't a fella catch a break just once.

Gave some thought to an exit today, but decided to stick it out a little longer.

S&P is still in that 2120 to 2170 range. Until it drops below 2120 I'm ok.

Was looking at my weekly data for 2016 and both the C and S funds will likely finish the week down. That makes it down two weeks in a row. C and S funds have only been down three weeks in a row twice in 2016, so odds are favoring a third week down unlikely.

With that said, I expect strength and next week to be positive. Yes it will probably remain volatile, but hey I like volatility. With that, I remain 50% C fund, 50% S fund.
