Hopefully some clarity will present over the weekend. Some saying this is a typical oversold rally, some others saying more pain on the way, we're no where near a bottom, etc. May step aside on Monday with my meager .5% or so gain. Can't complain but so much being 81 on the Tracker, still I dropped 12 slots. Have a great weekend everyone, we made it!

I was otherwise distracted on Monday with my Mom at a dentist appointment and missed the exit. Oh well, back to plan A... incremental entries at strategic lows, plenty of dry powder left - and sticky pants.

GRRRRR.... looking like a hammer reversal pattern so far today. Working from home, I can't answer my phone at work to get into the account. Brilliant set up.

Instead of spending millions on a website that sucks, they could have spent much less and extended the IFT's to a 2pm EST cutoff time.
May the force be with us.

Two spinning tops in a row, double the indecision? Is two in a row a reversal indicator, or continuation?

Waiting with baited breath (what does that mean? Doesn't sound good... reminds me of fishing ) on the Fed announcement. Would like to know now. Any thoughts on the outcome? Up? Down? Priced in? Does a lower hike mean we go up? I'm tempted to put in another 5% or so.

FYSA - the TSP site is very slow, I should have had enough time to put in an IFT once I logged in. After three or four page refreshes while making my way to the IFT page I was out of time.

I went into the TSP.gov site again today, the intent was to put a few more % into C & S with a Sep IFT and buy more on sale. Then I noticed my relative balance in the C&S had dropped 2% relative to G. Hmmmmmmmmm.... So, I figured my deposit went into the S fund today, that will be my DCA for the moment. I'm thinking the market may change tenor with the outcome of the midterms, being forward looking, that may happen sooner than later. Going to sit tight for now. Have a great weekend everyone! -.-

I'm still thinking the mid-terms may have an impact on a bottom, some are warning we'll follow Europe into a recession, that there is another 20% drop in the works; but the economy is not the market, right? Looking to add a few more % in the next week.

Appears there is strong support just under 3600 on SPX, both in the daily and weekly charts. Going to move in another 10%... I will be 50% exposed, but with a solid position at lower price levels. The doji is a little concerning... this noon cutoff
