It's days like today where I have to remind myself that even though they are not worth as much, I still have the same number of shares as I started the day with. In other words, it ain't a loss until you sell. Sticky pants are beginning to show signs of seepage ...

Thank you Mr. Market, may I have another???

    I would've been at -16.21% had I not IFT'd out of my 10-year buy-n-hold position (60 S and 40 C) on 23 Dec. I'm now @ -0.89% and sitting in (G). I was up 1.25% (F fund). But, then I attempted to catch a relief rally one day too early. Go figure I'd be a day early.

I wish I was at -0.89 right now. When this panic started I was at a plus 5. I didn't listen to the little birdie to get out and be safe.

I was thinking this would turn out to be a gap and trap. We'll know for sure at 12:01. Ain't that the B****. Though, it's possible things could start to improve tomorrow or even bounce today if it fills the gap. Might take a chance for a small bite of C & S. The fed just keeps digging a bigger and bigger hole though I am somewhat in favor of a stimulus for US oil companies and somewhat against it because they should always be prepared for dips. Even this much imo.

going back 5 years on the Dwcpf, the two previous times the 200 day moving average was broken, it was about to the level hit yesterday. The hype on corona virus appears to be post peak, china indicates 'epicenter' under control. Fiscal relief details should be out today... Posative outlook: Bottoming in progress. Negative: Second bear flag forming. Hope springs eternal!

The lame stream media continues to stoke the fear driving this mess. Corona 'Wuhan' Virus is a version of the common cold, not a big deal. H1N1 was much worse during the BO admin (why didn't the same market reaction happen then?). Just looking at the numbers, the flu does more damage every year. The only folks in peril are already in a bad way health-wise. This is very aggravating. At any rate, President Trump is going the right things, we'll see if cooler heads prevail and sanity returns to the markets. Super-Heavy-Duty-Mega-Ultra-Sticky Pants remain in place! I would like to play some chop though, I have 2 moves to burn!

I don’t know why I let myself see the the tail end of President Trump’s speech on CBS. It was immediately followed by journalists doing analysis and they didn’t have one positive thing to say before returning to programming. I swear they hate this country.
