I'm thinking the S is consolidating and possibly headed down soon? I moved 85%C 15%I. shouldn't bet; but, i am betting the dollar will take a hit that will boost the I and that C still has a little more run vs S.

Hi MMK, Thank You for the very good article. Definitely thought provoking! Hummmm....there is a need to be watchful, and he gave plenty of valid reasons. Cramer's points are interesting but #3 caught my attention most. Supply and demand will rule. Also, just so many people investing and I read that Young people are pouring money into the market. Just this past weekend heard my 22 year old nephew saying he just out money in (Robinhood), which seemed good except he said it was just based on what a friend told him.

Best wishes to you and Everyone*!!!!

Thank you so much for posting these - I find them very helpful! What's the difference between the two slo stochastics lines and is either one more like the ones that Ira Epstein talks about in his videos about being "embedded"?

Exiting the remaining 15% From I fund. So, I'm out until May! Woo...hooo....
I Fund is a crap sandwich. Glad I locked in half of those gains yesterday. Exit means I don't get to keep the gains on that part...Darn!

Here are charts as of a few minutes ago. Best Wishes to you All!

Hi Flalaw97! Good question! The first Stochastic, momentum indicator, has default settings (14,3) and should be close to, or same as the one Ira Epstein uses. It is momentum indicator that looks at last closing price and highs and lows over last 14 periods (days on daily charts) and 3 is a smoothing factor computed as an SMA of the first 14 periods (days) based computation. Hoping I did that description some justice but you can go out on internet to see exactly how its computed. I use it because it is reliable in my opinion at showing market momentum.

The second one at bottom of my charts, with %K=5, %D=1 setting is quicker acting with smaller timeframe in underlying calculations (5 days). This one is something I am observing/studying to see if I can use it for trading and so its not part of my methodology at this time. I noticed that "The Green Line" charts (see Stockcharts.com, public charts) use this 5,1 setting in their Stochastic indicator. Eventually will drop it if not usable for my purposes. Best wishes to you!
