Thank you! Points well taken, especially on I fund. At this point, will just be taking money off the table in little bits...if there is anything to take. Still hopeful. Best wishes to you and everyone!

Well, I was happy to see a little bounce back above my buy-in price. Tomorrow.. will see. So with all I've been reading, I have read or seen on FBN, it appears that the LargeDrop in Nasdaq last week was due to traders/investors moving from Tech Stocks to Financial/Bank Stocks. Some have described it as moving from Growth to Value stocks.

It would appear that with bill passing house last week to get rid of (some?) regulations under Dodd/Frank and Fed Rates increasing (possibly tomorrow or later this year), the stage is set for financial stocks to do better long term due to easing of regulations. Obviously, Dodd-Frank change bill still needs to go to the Senate and probably through some type of reconciliation but there is movement in that direction and I have read that the Administration does have the ability to ease/change many regulations without new legislation. Time will tell what happens///

AS for a possible rate hike by Fed Reserve tomorrow, I should think that if there is no rate hike, the market will not like that (opposite of prior thinking during monetary easing periods thinking...????/// I don't know... do I have that backwards? I understand there is more concern about balance sheet being unwound. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-u...-idUSKBN1940E4

    Best Wishes to everyone !!!!!!!!

So this is what always happens to me....Being retired, saturday I saw the s&p was down -2 and thought "good day to buy back in" (since dreamboatannie did a few days before)..hahaha. realized after I did that it was saturday and -2 was from friday..LOL
So I cancel the move. Monday was a great drop and would have been an Ideal buy in after seeing Tuesday. Now here I sit in the G fund, as usual, not in the market as it makes money for everyone else. My saturday move would have been genious!!! LOL

Now two hours, what to do?

This is going to be a choppy week. I wouldn't give too much thought to day to day movements. You just can't time this in TSP with it's limitations.

Hi, Haven't been posting as I don't have a lot to say. Market seems to be consolidating. Most visible on daily charts, except more visible for S fund by looking at Weekly chart. I want to exit but would like another positive day to get something out of my current trade. Could exit today, but noooooooo... will wait. Plus the nice rise this morning in S fund is now moving downward... like clockwork... just a bit before noon. will see if day closes positive. Waiting until Monday or so. I'll admit getting a bit jittery because of US (Tillerson & Mattis) meeting with China counselor yesterday.... Just want to avoid the unexpected.

    Well, on to brighter subjects!

I'll be going on vacation for a couple weeks so I will likely exit next week before I go. Just going tubing on the Frio river near Conan and then up to Kansas for 10 days to visit a friend and see Queen with Adam Lambert in KC. I hope its good! Adam does sing Bohemian Rhapsody exceptionally well. Great tickets on floor.

Best wishes to Everyone on your Investments and I hope you have a Great Weekend!!!!!!!!!!

Well....today would have been a good day to exit. But did not make time to process IFT...was just very busy at work. Finally got untangled about 15 minutes after market closed. Ugghhh.... This is exactly what happened last Monday. So, goal: get up early and just DO IT! Gosh...

Okay...so now i am crossing my fingers hoping for an even or better day. Seems like its getting very frothy! Futures are up right now, about +19 Points on DOW. So thats a small positive...pleazzzzz hold!

Hope you all are having a Fun Summer! Best wishes on your Investments!!!!!!!

I don't know. The market is trying to stay positive. It even looks like we might make a little money today. Of course the key word is little. :-)

I mostly exited but left 20% invested (15% in S and 5% in I fund). Momentum is still up for both of these funds but I am not very confident that it will go up a lot more... mainly because of Healthcare vote this week... if it happens. I could be completely wrong, but I am happy with more than 1% return this month. C fund just seems weak... MACD is sloped down while Stochastic seems anemic. S fund looks healthiest while I fund could go either way... Stochastic rising but MACD slightly down. May just let this ride into next month, or will contemplate full exit tomorrow.

Best Wishes to Everyone on Your Investments!!!!!!

P.S. Long vacation coming up... can hardly wait!!!!
