C fund seems to be gapping up, which often gives another few days before dropping, but S fund ...well no telling...it does look weak. GDP numbers come out Friday? Heard some guys on FBN this morning...they did not answer how a good GDP number (expected 4.2) would affect market when they were asked about it. They just said earnings were already baked in.

I always try to keep in mind that anything can happen. The weekly charts look ok...but S fund weakening (looking at MACD histogram in below chart). At this point, i just wanted out so I could enjoy rest of my vacation. Like yesterday...the excitement was seeing my friend and her husband get an BIG escaped bull back behind the fence! Woo...hooo.....!

    Best wishes to you!!!!!!!

Thanks Whipsaw. The time up here in Kansas always helps me clear my head. Have lots of time to reflect and just enjoy the outdoors. Beautiful rolling green hills and its cooler than Texas!

with no curved roads to think and deal with in kansas when driving your mind can be at ease. put on cruise and relax.

Sounds dangerous. Highway 54 in New Mexico used to have lots of accidents because it was straight and flat for 60 miles. It would have a hypnotic effect on people and cause them to drift off.

I've only been through the middle of Kanasas but the only rolling hills I remember where the highway overpasses.

Exactly, curves are intentionally put in highways/expressways for that very reason.

Located in the state of North Dakota, the ND-46 W is 120 miles (193km) stretch of straightness near Fargo. This asphalted road links Oxbow (in Cass County) and Streeter (Stutsman County). It’s a straight road with a few kinks breaking up slightly the straight parts for 1 h 56 min.

The US-54 W going through three states with no real discernable curves is 108 miles (173km) stretch of straightness. This asphalted road links Liberal (county seat of Seward County) and Dalhart (Dallam County). It’s a straight road running through three states (Texas, Kansas and Oklahoma) for 1 h 55 min.

When I woke up yesterday and saw DOW futures, it was like the world was crumbling down around this retired guy - no longer dollar cost averaging the down swings = real losses -- but as you say, ended up on a high note - NOW TODAY DOW futures are looking good, so I don't know what to expect for the S fund
