    Default Cannabis stocks

I think now is a good time to buy with CA joining the legalization club next week. I also think most if not all states will be legal in 10yrs. So I'm now in FFRMF and LBUY. Looking at holding these long. Anyone else investing in this sector?

I’m in Canadian stocks...Aphria, Canopy Growth, and Aurora Cannabis. All three are doing extremely well, TWMJF up about 46% in just the last month

Thanks, I was thinking about Canadian stocks also, I'll look at those. FFRMF was up 39.44% yesterday alone and about 66% since I bought it. LBUY was up 15.97% yesterday alone. I think this new sector is a clear winner.

I agree, APHQF up 216% since Feb ‘17. ACBFF I’m up 97% after averaging cost of two lots since last February. Still room to climb in my opinion

I'm going to buy into cannabis stocks after the first of the year. I hope to get loaded buying in now, and holding for the long term.
I'll be asking for some tips on which ones to start with.

I just saw where the first Pot ETF started trading a few days ago. The ticker is MJX if y'all want to research it. My first impression is to avoid it because it was a RIET ETF that failed and they changed their theme. But it could be good. I'm just a little concerned about it from what little research I've done. I will be watching it fthough.

No, I'm not investing in it. It's illegal and unhealthy (those are legal and scientific statements of fact, not an opinion); those factors constitute too great of an investment risks to touch it, or consider it in any long term.
I’ll likely invest in cannabis stocks because it’s NOT illegal in every state, and it’s a growing industry, so I can make some $$$. Weed needs to be legalized, taxed, and regulated along the lines of (unhealthy) alcohol. Is it better to keep throwing away billions a year and thousands of hours on LE fighting a losing battle? And how do you effectively regulate access by minors to an illegal drug? Answer: You don’t. Legalize it, and regulate it. People are going to do what people are going to do. Act like an adult and practice common sense and moderation in all things. If one is incapable of that, it doesn’t matter if a substance is legal, or illegal. You can’t fix stupid.
And I will agree there are health risks associated with weed. It’s called “munchies”, which leads to overconsumption of unhealthy snack foods.
    But, to each his own.

Just bought small lot of APHQF @ 14.90. It's at the 52 week high but putting in regular higher highs with decent volume. I'm going to stay away from MJX for now.
