It's hitting the military too. Retirees are taking a hit on their pensions and active duty have to fill in for furloughed civilians.

I'm happy I have a job.

The retiree cuts are just the tip of the iceberg. I see Obama throwing retirees off TRICARE and into the exchanges.

POTUS's SECDEF already hinted at working age retirees taking their employer plans to save DoD money.

I've never been more ashamed of our Government leaders....bright side...Everything Obama F'ed up, can be repealed or rescinded..

Problem is, there are probably hundreds of thousands of people willing to take our jobs for less money. If you're unhappy now, try unemployment. They'll give you free money for about 99 weeks nowadays, but good luck getting hired after that time.

I thought extended unemployment got axed in the new budget deal beginning right after Christmas. So..go get a job you do nothin' people! Hope you can live on minimum wage. Oh yeah thats below poverty. Oh well, umm...well...just figure it out will ya. Baa Humbug!

If I were you and felt that way I would quit and go to work at McDonald's. You are getting paid much more than you are worth. You don't deserve the pay you are getting and your benefits are way out of line. We are not to increase the pay and benefits of the poor but we are going to cut your pay and benefits no mater what your technical abilities and education are.

I'm glad I'm not working.
