    Abe Vigoda/Died, I think? He was 94.

Phil Fish on the television sitcom series Barney Miller from 1975 to 1977 and its spinoff show Fish in 1978, both on ABC. Vigoda died on January 26, 2016, at his daughter's home in Woodland Park, New Jersey.

Abe Vigoda's style of humor is a large part of what made the cast of "Barney Miller" into one of the best TV sitcoms...then and now. One of the few shows I would watch on a regular basis...

Amazing that he looked old 40 yrs. ago. I do not think many young people know (or have watched) Barney Miller. I use to watch it with my late Father. Great memories.

Tomorrow Feb 1 is the anniversary of the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster which during entry disintegrated on Feb. 1, 2003 killing all seven crew members. No celebrities but national heroes. Steve Morse of "Deep Purple" wrote this instrumental number "Contact Lost" in memory.

RIP: Columbia Crew: Rick D. Husband, William C. McCool, Michael P. Anderson, llan Ramon, Kalpana Chawla, David M. Brown, Laurel Blair Salton.
