I met Davy Jones at the airport once. I think it was 1996~7ish. He was a very nice guy. Sad to see him go so young.

Bad news, I still like the Monkeys.

I've always liked Harry Morgan in "Dragnet" a TV series from way back. In 2009 I purchased a 5-DVD Collection of Dragnet staring Jack Webb and Harry Morgan. I was waching one of the DVDs this afternoon again.

Harry died a long time ago. The title of the post depends on which post we reply to. The old titles can also be deleted using "Go Advanced" while replying.

Widely read conservative Internet publisher Andrew Breitbart has died, his attorney confirms.
The site Big Government, which he founded, reported that Breitbart, 43, died "unexpectedly from natural causes" in Los Angeles shortly after midnight on Thursday.
"We have lost a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a dear friend, a patriot and a happy warrior," the article on the site said. "Andrew lived boldly, so that we more timid souls would dare to live freely and fully, and fight for the fragile liberty he showed us how to love."

My wife's doctor died of a heart attack last week, now Davy Jones and Breitbart. All fairly young. This is a bit of a wake up call for me to start taking a little bit better care of myself. Sometimes I forget, that the key ingredient to saving for retirement is to make sure we are alive and healthy to enjoy it when we reach retirement age.

Sage advice Tom. And one of the main keys for me to stay healthy is loving and sharing time with my children. Virtually every day I will sing "Daydream Believer" with/to my 4 year old and substitute her name for "Sleepy Jean" when it comes to that part of the song. I was a huge Monkees fan as a young 'un.
