If you use the video link, it works better... I guess

If I had not seen your posts here, I would not have been moved to check out Lata Mangeshwar and her sister Asha Bhosle on the internet, here is part of what I found. LM still performs entirely in a traditional style while AB does flashier stuff. So I also looked up Ali Akbar Khan . . .

    Lata Mangeshkar:
Lata Mangeshkar: Wada Na Tod (Don't break your promise) - YouTube

    Her sister Asha Bhosle:
CHURALIYA HAI TUMNE JO DIL KO - ASHA BHOSLE - YouTube (singing starts at 1:44, but the first 1/2 min is good Latin American guitar music)
Yeh Ladka Hai Allah - Live - by Asha Bhosle - YouTube 1988 performance starts with 50s-60s American RnR motif . . .

Ali Akbar Khan, died 2009, one of the greatest of sarod players, excellent video this one.
Ustad Ail Akbar Khan - YouTube

During 1973-1976, I had an Indian roommate who loved the music of his own country, mainly the above three artists, among others. I listened to those records a lot during that time. AB's earlier work was traditional like that of her sister LM has remained. I am sure glad you motivated me to check these artists out again. Notice that AAKh is referred to as Khan sahib. Get it? Sahib. . . He deserves the title, indeed. From this little foray I am now motivated to check out as much of the works available of LM and AAKh as I can. Thanks.
