Re: The Oldies But Goodies Network
Peter Frampton lost that 1954 Gibson Les Paul custom guitar in the video in 1980 after a concert in Venezuela when the cargo plane carrying his equipment crashed. It was found in the Caribbean and returned to Frampton 32 years later. Still plays it to this day.

This group always reminds me of the time George Carlin gave my mom tickets to watch him perform in a summer variety series called Away We Go at CBS (he grew up in the same hood as my parents in NY) and I got to see Spanky and Our Gang perform this song. We even got to go backstage to meet them, Buddy Rich, and Buddy Greco. It was pretty cool and I couldn't wait to go to school and show off my autographs.

Yes, it was, but I didn't know who he was. I was just a kid when I went to the taping and was more interested in seeing Spanky and Our Gang. :D
