I turn it on every now and then, but not for their financial yadda-yaddas...I just like to check out "Maria"!
I've been CNBC free since January 1, 2008 and apparently I'm not alone.
http://www.businessinsider.com/cnbc-...ctober-2009-10Nielsen reported a 50% plunge in CNBC vierwership in October year over year. Specially, CNBC has experienced a massive 52% decline in overall viewers during business day hours (5 am - 7 pm), and a not much better 49% drop in its demo (25-54) in the month of October as compared to last year.
Interesting that it's down over the business day even though we have the most people laid off and spending the day on their couch in over a decade.
The Dow is at 10,000? Isn't that some index that's being manipulated by robot trading and quants?

MCC is the one that "stands" out - at least on most days.
Actually, Erin is my favorite...
