I sold. I couldn't wait. A bird in hand...
So, for those of you following Moderna stock, would you expect it to be worth more when product actually starts shipping? I know I would. But as of today, I'm looking at a better than 80% return on my purchase. I'm tempted to sell right now! Anyone had experience with the BioTechs and have some historical perspective?

Probably best to unload it now. Unless you have a major drug company, those small companies are still lotto's.
Jeez, could have bought this the day of the major gap up in November and still made a big payout.
Moderna has actually been one of the early speculation plays on a vaccine. The charts don't do much justice because of the past few weeks ramp, but it went from 20-30 in just two weeks in March.
CFRA analyst update today:
Moderna (MRNA 153 ***): CFRA lowers our opinion to Hold from Buy. We raise our target price by $23 to $146 to reflect higher optimism for MRNA’s later-stage programs. MRNA announced today that it intends to seek FDA authorization for its Covid-19 vaccine (mRNA-1273); its shares have surged 46% over the past few days to reflect, in our opinion, robust demand and increased confidence. However, we lower our rating as we think that it’s difficult to continue to remain bullish on MRNA at current share prices when so many critical variables related to Covid-19 vaccines remain unknown.
I think I made the right move. It opened even higher this morning, but there's been some profit taking. I am happy with my trade and now I'll look for something else. Thanks for the input!
