    Yikes!

Yep- stocks are now twice as expensive as they were at the start of the 1929 stock market crash.

Really makes you feel secure, doesn't it?

The old record was set in 1929, when it took 42 days over in Sept/Oct to drop into a bear market.

It took just 16 trading days for the broader stock market to drop from records into a bear market, the fastest decline ever and nearly twice as fast as the stock market crash in 1929, according to LPL Financial.
