Thread: Oil Slick Stuff

Just passed the BP down the block from me and gas was $3.89/gal. Friday it was $3.65. The speedway around the corner is still $3.67 and the cheapest is $3.44/gal. but that is 5.4 miles from my house.

OPEC and non-OPEC partners on Wednesday agreed to impose deep output cuts, seeking to spur a recovery in crude prices despite U.S. pressure to pump more.
Oil prices have fallen to roughly $80 a barrel from over $120 in early June amid growing fears about the prospect of a global economic recession.

While oil companies are making outrageous profit.

Within a half mile of my house a BP has gas at $3.69/gal and a Speedway has gas at $3.39/gallon. Diesel is over $5.00/gal.

Yesterday the Speedway by me went from $3.39 to $3.69 per gallon.

The December Oil futures are flirting with $90 again. Currently 89.70.

Ever station around me is $3.89/gal. Last week they were down to $3.39 on average.

Every station near me is $4.69.

December oil futures are $92.30 right now.

Just drove past a BP station about a mile from me and they jumped from $3.89 yesterday to $4.29 this morning. All the other stations are still sitting at $3.89. Of course the one station across from the BP is $3.69.
