They are rare around here too in this mecca of no rust. I did see a bunch of ChevyII gen 1 and 2 in a salvage yard somewhere in my travels. Can't remember where but they are the same car, right kar crazy?

I have a feeling I'm gonna pay for that last statement.

I live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The coast host the annual Cruisn' the Coast. We spot countless 67-69 Camaros. My first car was a 67 Firebird.

I had one pull up at a traffic light beside me the other day. It was brown I think (lots of surface rust), producing blue smoke, needed a mofle, sounded like a six and was clacking badly. (not rapping, sounds like no oil to the top end) When he took off it bellowed blue smoke and appeared to be a three on the tree. There was a sign in the back window stating “se venda $20,000”.

If I run in to this person again do you want me to chase him down? It may challenge my language skills but I might be able to get contact information.

i lost mine/got my first in the back of a 1972 plymouth duster. but it felt like a '67 camaro, does that count? if i had unlimited funds and time i would cherry a '67 out like you wouldn't believe and go about collecting speeding tickets, haul it around in a trailer behind my new rock star party bus, big ole grin on my face the whole time.

I had a 73 duster, 318/TourqeFlite. POS but a reliable POS. Outran a 273 'cuda one night. Next work day the 'cuda owner demanded I pop the hood in front of witnesses. New "fastest car" in the shop. No action in the back seat except baby seat stuff. Both cars were valiants underneath.

This is a thread about ChevyII/Camaro. No more Mopar stuff. kar krazy is looking for a gussied up F body.
