I wonder how much of that drop is due to person's who no longer support Nike and NBA due to their showing their support for China instead of the USA. Traitors!

Someday they will learn that the Silent Majority speaks with Dollars! --not with their mouth or disrespecting our flag and/or with violent rioting ....

I dearly wish that you could be right about this. I long for a day when businesses of all types were primarily concerned about making money and providing great quality products for their customers. I just need a company like Nike to sell me great sneakers, not try and enforce/influence social and political values. But, they are not alone.

Great point. No sports of any kind really. And if I'm sitting at home without a job, I don't think a new pair of running shoes is anywhere near the top of my list of purchases. I'll make the old pair work for another few months.

Hummm... maybe you could consider some other good brand that doesn't offend its customers.

Consider the case of Macy's... have heard of their sales woes since last year...if they go under I will not shed a single tear. I loved to shop there for decades, but they took out the Trump silk ties when he ran. PayPal refuses to let people use its services to buy Guns. I can go on and on. My dollars have silently walked elsewhere and I am very certain that I am not alone!

Is it Verizon, just one among a handful of companies, that indicated this morning that they would no longer advertise on Facebook unless it starts to ban something or other---speech? I'm no lover of Facebook and have never used it, but I Gotta listen to details on that one later tonight. I was thinking of switching to Verizon, but will look into what they are "protesting".....maybe they will Forever become a "nevermind"! If this keeps going, I may end up saving lots of money!

PS. I heard about something called Parler as alternative to Twitter? will need to explore.

Also, I only use DuckDuckGo instead of Google on computers and phone due to many things that irk me about Google...ok its the weekend, I need to turn it off and relax and ignore the world. ...... a lil glass of red wine is sounding very good...

I agree with you too DBA, but it's getting so that if you boycotted every business that's offensive, then there'd be nothing left!

Yes agree....but that will just make room for more deserving God-loving, USA-loving companies! ....or so I hope...someone will step up!

I think the underlying problem is that people are no longer taught to love and respect God and their country.

While it's not perfect and we must continue working to form "a more perfect union", we have too many large multi-national corporations who no longer pledge allegiance to America and are not held accountable for selling us out (same goes for Congress).

Not sure how you fix this, as the root issue involves morals and character which definitely impact overall corporate environment...obviously in epidemic proportions. I don't believe we should legislate that.... but maybe its come to that. Corporate leaders no longer value the long-term health of the corporations they run, and day traders use the market like a fast-moving gambling pit. Also, corporate heads and corporate management seem to only care about short-term gains (and make out like bandits when they cash out their options and leave). Otherwise, what explains why high tech and other companies do business in China and are willingly give up their intellectual property rights, which benefits the Chinese Communist party?

PS.. You've got a great mug Ranger! I checked out that site and would love to try it, but I can't give up my picture...just don't trust any company with the whole facial recognition thing going on....
