    Default Trader's Alamanac 2010

    I've recently read the 2010 Trader's Almanac.

This is the first of the Trader's Almanacs I've read. Although it's not your typical book, I did enjoy the stats provided. This book does the time consuming legwork I've spent countless hours doing myself. It made for a quick easy read and provided one of those "where have you been all my life" moments. The great thing about this book is it's utility across a broad range of people. Anyone from beginner to advanced or technical to fundamental can learn and benefit from the tools provided. If anyone else has read one of these books in the past I've love to hear your long-term opinion.

    Thanks... Jason

Well it's like flipping a coin, you can get 20 heads in a row, it's not probable but it is possible. But this book does show the probability in hours of the trading day, day of the week, daily, weekly, monthly, ect. It also identifies changes in trends as they occur and other long-term trading strategies I consider a good fit for the average TSP investor.

As a rule I don't, lol but I did this week. I had made the decision the night before, but got tired and forgot to IFT. You'll notice I IFT'd an hour before the deadline, hence not letting the market's morning action influence me.

Love the almanac for all the information.
