  1. TSP Talk Weekly Wrap Up

Investors continue to buy up stocks as they approach pre-pandemic levels. The S&P 500 produced its 6th consecutive day of gains Friday after a late surge the last couple hours of trading pushed the index out of negative territory. Positive earnings in smaller stocks and a jobs report that outdid expectations had money moving to stocks, particularly small caps. There was rotation out of large cap names and into small caps especially towards the end of the week. The Nasdaq produced a loss Friday to ...

Index prices were back trading around the highs by Wednesday and from there the price range tightened up for the rest of the week. Bank earnings debuted this week and the numbers were surprisingly positive for the most part. Fiscal ...

The ongoing assessment of risk produced choppy action throughout the week; the S&P 500 even dropped sharply to negative territory early Thursday but quickly turned around into a rally that kept course for the rest of the week. Virus cases continue to add up in particular states threatening another economic shutdown. Investors are also beginning ...
