It was another week for the bears. The negative economic narrative along with a hawkish Fed have given investors every reason to sell in the midst of a bear market. There was one day of hope for a bounce on Wednesday with the C-fund up around 2% and the S-fund up around 3%. The gains were short-lived and were given back the very next day. The charts do not look appealing. The C-fund's S&P 500 chart has fallen below the June lows and there is not no back-up support. Some investors are trying to get lucky with a bounce but it seems like a shot in the dark for now, and like Wednesday, the good times have been short-lived.

I'm traveling today so I will keep today's report short. Below I have the S&P 500 (C-fund) and DWCPF (S-fund) charts. The C-fund lagged this week with a a 1.61% loss and has fallen below its June lows. The S-fund on the other hand lost just 0.61% and has yet to fall below the lows established in June. It is the start of the fourth quarter on Monday and what is left of the bulls are hoping or a change in character.
