  1. It's only a matter of time now

    Stocks were down most of the day on Friday, but an afternoon rally took the indices well off of their lows. The Dow lost just 3-points, but the Nasdaq, S&P 500, and the Transportation Index each saw more of a decline.

    The fund allocation shifts for both the Top 50 and the Total Tracker this week reveal both groups are moving in opposite directions. Nothing over-the-top yet, but definitely something to keep an eye on.

  3. TSP Talk Weekly Wrap Up

    Stocks rose sharply last Monday, heading right up to the 2011 S&P 500 highs, and spent the rest of the week dancing above and below that breakout level. The economic data was fair to good and the price of oil has been able to remain below $110 a barrel.

  5. Bull/Bear Battle Continues

    It would appear the seemingly nonstop march higher is over. At least for the moment, as we're starting to see some day to day whipsaw action.

    The Seven Sentinels remain in an intermediate term sell condition. Notice BPCOMPQ turned back to a sell today. And internals continue to struggle, but price has been largely resilient in spite of the recent volatility. And that may continue.
