  1. The rebound


    Stocks rallied back yesterday recouping some of Tuesday's losses. The Dow gained 78-points, but resistance is overhead as we head into tomorrow's jobs report.


    For the TSP, the C-fund was up 0.72% yesterday, the S-fund gained 1.07%, the I-fund added 0.12%, and the F-fund (bonds) lost 0.15.

    Well, not surprisingly the market retraced some of yesterday's losses. And we may see a bit more upside in the short term, but that doesn't change the intermediate term picture painted by the Seven Sentinels.

  3. The 1%'ers

    Stocks finally saw a meaningful pullback yesterday as the Dow and S&P 500 experienced their first 1% declines of the year. The Dow lost 204-points - a loss of 1.6%, while small caps and the international stocks lost 2.0% and 2.6% respectively.

  4. Tipping Point

    The Seven Sentinels went to a sell condition two weeks ago tomorrow. As it turns out, that signal was just about perfectly timed.

  5. The bulls won't give up easily

    Stocks opened sharply lower on Monday morning, but the dip buyers showed up about an hour into the trading day and took the indices up to close with more moderate losses. The Dow dropped 15-points but the Nasdaq 100 lost 1% for the first time all year.
