    The Dow struggled most of the day yesterday but managed a 5-point gain by the end of the day. The broader market did better however, with the S&P 500, Nasdaq, Transports, and small caps seeing larger gains. The I-fund led the way with a 1.26% gain.

    Stocks rallied sharply on Tuesday, following through on Monday's bounce off of the 50-day EMA of the S&P 500 and the Dow charts. The Dow gained 128-points on the day.

    Stocks rallied yesterday as the Dow and S&P 500 held onto some key support levels - at least for now. The Dow gained 95-points on the day and the three TSP stock funds each saw approximately 3/4 of a percent gains.

    For the second day in a row, stocks gave back some big early gains creating some negative looking reversal days. Now the Dow and S&P 500 are testing their 50-day EMAs as we head into the heart of earnings season.

    For 6 out of the last 7 weeks, the direction of shift in total stock exposure by the Top 50 has coincided with the weekly direction of the market. That's in contrast to what amounted to a 25% accuracy rate from January - August 2012. So they've been getting correctly positioned of late.
