Wonderful stuff. I have been dabbling with a python algo and a few API's. Some interesting results based on historical data. But like they say historical data does not future results lol...nice to see articles such as these.

Thanx for the info, Bullitt. I had no idea. It never occured to me someone could get paid to trade. I thought all trades had to be paid for and that's how the exchange made its money.

Neither the TinyURL link, nor copy&paste, are working for me. Any suggestions on what next to do?
FYI, I am of age & am allowed into 'R' rated events.... ;/)

    A must read:
Max Keiser: Crash JP Morgan - Buy Silver!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QCM7rMIqxmk

“They have sold silver contracts that don’t exist. They engage in naked short selling. This is a form of counterfeiting.”

The point of the ‘Crash JP Morgan Buy Silver’ campaign is to force JP Morgan to cover its negative bets. “There’s no way they can cover their liabilities if we all buy 1 silver coin and demand physical delivery,” says Keiser.

so in the "short term/intermediate term ...

You are stating we are in a bear market and buyer beware. It probably is pretty obvious but wanted to make sure. The charts look pretty conclusive regarding the direction we are going.

Excellent points, 5 star job as always. I owned DBB for a while but it didn't go anywhere. I still own CEF but not for long. But molybdenum is fun to say isn't it?

The herd is not prepared for another flash crash, selloff or let alone 'correction'. Take a look at that flash crash that happened in GLD in the AH on Friday.

thank you, bullitt, I'm still one of the lone bears too. wish I was better at quick trading, but I'm an intermediate kinda gal, still learning when to believe the intermediate signals. I'll get it right one of these days, til then I'm sitting tight except for a few quick (usually wrong) ventures.

Thank you Jaded. I haven't been able to update as much as I used to, but I would like to try to put in an entry at least bi-weekly.
