I have a question about regular periodic rollover from a eligible account into TSP.
First some background. I am a current Federal employee currently contributing to the TSP. As much as I like it I am looking for a position outside Federal service, but I love the TSP and want to continue putting money into it. Now according to TSP.gov, you can still move money from eligible accounts into TSP even if you are separated from Federal service.
Is there anything that would prevent me from basicly funneling money into the TSP 26 or 12 times per year? In effect, can I make a "contribution" and not be a current employee using this method?
THIS IS WHERE I WOULD PUT SOMETHING TO REPRESENT MY THINKING, BUT THEN THEY SHOW UP!
Tracker = Check my position
That, I understand. I was wondering if there were any limits on the number of rollovers per year or something else that would prevent me from doing this?
