Here in interior Northern California our 1 pm temp was 92 deg with 22% RH on our way to 100 degrees, which is our normal high.

We just finished a stretch of 10 cooler than normal days. Monday was 79, 20 degrees below the normal of 99, and 35 cooler than the record of 114. All of the Redding records this time of year are well above 110, so we thank the rest of the nation for taking our heat this summer :cheesy:

PS. lots of time our heat index is below our ambiant temp

On the west coast, in mountains, been in weather nirvana all year. Winter - more rain than snow at my house. Spring, no 35 to 95 degree transitions...just nice mild winter into cool spring into perfect 75-85 degree summer days. This is NOT how it usually is, BUT how it usually was, 25 years ago. Your loss is our gain...

Yes Sir Buddy, mine are good. Did you notice I ate one? Don't buy them from the guys selling them in the Zippy Mart beside the road, they are terrible. They reheat them every day until they sell them all, YUCK! I make mine from GREEN RAW Peanuts straight out of the fields not dried Raw Peanuts Hot Pepper Flakes Cajun seasoning and garlic powder, never reheat just stick them in the Frig.

Payout enough to liquidate the loan but leave it running fine, like a free car or something. Whoa dude, this insurance stuff is cool.

And no, I didn't bring a camera with me. My cell phone will capture a few, but I have to wait till I return to the states to figure out how to upload them from my phone.
My cell service (sprint) charges by the kilobite for international - so I'd rather rather not be screwing around trying to figure out how to email myself a photo on my cellphone.

Well, I don't know about the charts and historical stuff and all, but for me it was just after the turn of the century, in El-dah-rae-duh. Gawd that place was hot and oppressive, not to mention the humidity. And I was working with a real bunch of a**holes.

I never imagined you could fry an egg in liquid bubbling grease and not a pan and still have it come out whole, turns out was usually the best part of my day.

Soaked from the minute I got out of the truck till the time I was headed home.

PS, there are gators in the mill ponds, and they like chicken, strange folk called them pets, out back.
