I have been holding off on upgrading to the latest version this forum's software because the changes were so vast and there were likely going to be bugs in the new software. It has been well over a year now since the latest version was developed and the software does appear more stable (We use it on beltwaytalk.com.)

But one of the things I was really opposed to was changing the look and feel of the current message board. We talked about this a while back - http://www.tsptalk.com/mb/showthread.php?t=8834).

It sounds like they are close to taking care of that.

So, perhaps we are closer to upgrading. Some of the new features are appealing to me but I have held off because of the other concerns. If you recall (http://www.tsptalk.com/mb/showthread.php?t=8834), the new version also has an iPhone app.

That's Cool, and sounds EASY I hope it works better than the upgrade from Win 2000 to Vista.

I hate when a supposed educated person pronounces the word; "often" with the "T" not silent...as "off-ten"...shows me that they are uneducated in basic verbal skills to say the least..Like when people pronounce "ask" like a chopping tool....so how am I going to believe in their IT skills?....

if it isn't broke..don't fix it..;)

It was only when the masses started learning to read and saw that there was a T in the word that the T started being pronounced - a sign of literacy, actually, and not illiteracy. :toung:

Just janking your chain, hermano ("h" is silent:laugh:).

I hear ya. However, most dictionaries have been updated to show both pronunciations are now acceptable. What can ya do? :D

Only one question. Is the version you are contemplating upgrading to still called "beta"?
