Today the EAFE symbol on the top right of the homepage was showing a .56 percent gain; however, the I fund only went up a penny. I'm new at this, so I don't know which symbol I need to follow during the day to see where the I fund will end up.

I think most people following the I fund right now would like to find the ticker symbol that would accurately reflect the daily EAFE. So far, there doesn't seem to be one.

Happy New Year!

Hi Chap. Really enjoy your posts.I read you as a Barnabas:D. You of course know the meaning of his name, but for others who may wonder, Barnabas was an encourager. I believe I have that right, but please correct me if I am wrong.

Anyway I have read that the S & P comes alive in the years ending in 5. Anyone have anidea how the I Fund did in these years?

Also I am in agreement to paying Tom for all of his hard work and would not want to see such a great site such as this go by the wayside. I think that Tom could help many while we help him. This web site has been of great benefit to me just since Nov. 04. My TSP is up better than 20% since I started reading the posts on this site. Gives one an education, and much food for thought. And with all of the different personalitiesthis is a fun place to gather with folks rowing in the same boat.:^

Was 100% I

Currently: 33% C, 34% S, 33% I

Hello sonofthunder! Just made a post on day to day. Agree with you and you did very well! I was close behind. But why have you changed your position from 100% to a mixed stock bag? Just curious? Good luck!

For those of you looking to buy into (I), I believe today will be a great opportunity to do so, especially since the Asian markets were down yet again. As of this posting, the dollar is down just a little. But if the trend continues, (I) should fair well early next week.

As for myself, I haven't decided yet. But I just wanted to post this for some"food for thought".

God Bless:^
