As I start preparing the AutoTracker (AT) for 2011, there are a few things you need to know:

Q - Will I have to resign up for the AutoTracker for 2011

A – No. Active members will automatically roll into the New Year. BUT if you have not signed into the AutoTracker in the last 3-months, we will assume you are no longer interested and will delist the account. This utility is for active TSP Talkers so make sure you have signed in (http://www.tsptalk.com/tracker/tsp_user_login.php) recently (within the last 90 days), even if you don’t make an IFT, just so we know you are still lurking.

Q - Will the stats reset at the beginning of 2011?

A – Yes. The 2010 will be posted on The AutoTracker home page (http://www.tsptalk.com/tracker/tsp-tracker.php) and we start fresh in 2011.

Q - What if I am not currently on the AutoTracker?

A – Here's how to get started (http://www.tsptalk.com/mb/showthread.php?t=7766).

If you have friends or co-workers who are on the AT, please remind them to sign in once in a while, or we will have to drop them.

If you are not currently on the AutoTracker, it is best to sign up before Monday, January 3 so that your account reflects the entire 2011 return. Those who sign up after the January 3 will not be able to make retroactive moves and your account return will show as a “partial year” return, and thus be ineligible for any annual return prizes.

If your email address is not active on the AutoTracker email alert list (http://www.tsptalk.com/email_alerts.html), your account will be delisted and not rollover to the new year, so make sure you check on that.

If you have any general question, please post them here, otherwise contact me thru PM (http://www.tsptalk.com/mb/private.php?do=newpm&u=1) or email.

Thanks and good luck to everyone in 2011!

Existing AutoTracker members who are logging in to show activity do not have to make an IFT in your account. As a matter of fact, we'd prefer that you don't re-enter an existing allocation.

Just logging in (http://www.tsptalk.com/tracker/tsp_user_login.php) resets your account to "active".

Login now (http://www.tsptalk.com/tracker/tsp_user_login.php): http://www.tsptalk.com/tracker/tsp_user_login.php

Thanks!

I don't know if this is the right place for a request for 2011, but I think it might be a nifty feature. Is there a way to record average and highest ranking held YTD?

I'm not sure I understand, but Ocean, the guy who originally programmed the tracker, did do some returns average analysis...

This weekend the ax comes down on the idle accounts. Please sign in to the AutoTracker if you have not logged in, in the last couple of months, or your account will be dropped. See below for more....
